About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to manage end-to-end financial administration while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations.

Reporting directly to the Financial Director, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable, including foreign currency payments
• Preparing and maintaining the general ledger and monthly management accounts
• Completing BAS reporting and supporting payroll and payroll tax processes
• Assisting with end-of-year reporting and liaising with external accountants
• Performing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Monitoring and reporting on cash flow, overseeing debtors and supervising the Accounts Clerk
• Managing superannuation obligations and ensuring compliance with current legislation
• Partnering with management to identify opportunities to upgrade systems and drive cost and process efficiencies

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance role
• Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn internal systems
• A high level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
