Lawson Elliott is partnering with a highly reputable organisation seeking a confident and capable Credit Officer to join their Brisbane team. Reporting to the Credit Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:

• End to end Credit function 

• Maintaining financial records accurately

• Debt collection - ensuring timely payment of debts

• Performing debt recovery processes & negotiate payment plans with customers

• Weekly & month end reporting 

• Bank reconciliations 

• Preparation of bills and invoices for clients

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

• Resolving accounts to the general ledger

• Managing the credit team inbox and respond to queries

• Ad-hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role:

• 3+ years proven work experience as a Credit Officer or similar role

• Strong and confident communication skills 

• Exceptional verbal, written and customer service skills 

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure

• Strong interpersonal, analytical & numeracy skills
