Accountant

This opportunity would suit a hands-on finance professional looking for flexibility, autonomy and the ability to manage their own schedule, with the role offering 4 hours per day across a 2-month period. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to choose their preferred working hours and will be based in the office 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and financial reporting
• General ledger reconciliations and maintenance
• BAS preparation and lodgements
• Assisting with month-end processes and compliance requirements
• Supporting the wider finance function with day-to-day accounting activities
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial records and reporting

About You

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• CPA or CA studies commenced or working towards qualification will be highly regarded
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance and general ledger processes
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Available to commence at short notice
