Senior M365 Cloud Technical Specialist
We are currently seeking a Senior M365 Cloud Technical Specialist for a large Queensland-based organisation. This role is suited to an experienced Microsoft 365 specialist with strong hands-on experience across M365 administration, Azure/Entra ID, security, compliance and automation.

About the role
You will be responsible for supporting, managing and improving an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID and related cloud services. You will act as a senior technical specialist across the M365 platform, helping to improve security, governance, performance and service delivery.

Key skills and experience

• Strong experience administering enterprise Microsoft 365 environments
• Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID / Azure AD and Active Directory
• Experience with MFA, conditional access and privileged identity management
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention policies, eDiscovery and compliance tools
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Experience with Microsoft Graph or related M365 automation tools
• Experience with Azure AD Connect and hybrid identity environments
• Understanding of ITIL and service management practices
• Experience with M365 security, governance, tenant configuration and licensing
• Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, SC-300 or AZ-104 are highly regarded
• Government or public sector experience is desirable but not essential

You will be a proactive technical specialist who can work across support, security, infrastructure and business teams. You will be confident providing technical advice, solving platform issues and helping improve Microsoft 365 services.
