Description of the role: We’re seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. In this role you’ll be responsible for providing accounting and advisory solutions for clients.

What your day might look like: 

• Preparation of BAS and IAS returns
• Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and associated entities
• Preparation of tax returns
• Tax planning
• Acting as point of contact for a range of clients across industries

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and identify and resolve problems effectively
• Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously despite changing priorities and requirements
• Current experience with accounting software packages i.e. Xero, QuickBooks Online, Reckon & MYOB
• Current experience with Xero Financials and Tax software will be favourably regarded, however is not essential
• Degree qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce
• Completed CA program or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in a professional services firm
