Financial / Management Accountant - Lead a Team - Some WFH

A prominent National organisation, this business operates in a growing industry sector and provides unparalleled career development opportunities to their employees. Due to sustained organic growth and a recent acquisition, an opportunity exists for an experienced Accounting professional to join their team and assist in driving the execution of their industry portfolio.

About the Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role has responsibility for providing financial and management accounting advice to internal stakeholders, predominantly in the area of financial performance. The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead a small team to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and monthly financial reports.

• Monthly management reports, balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.

• Work with the commercial team to provide sound advice, financial forecasting and reporting and updates on the portfolio.

• Oversee GST and FBT and to ensure correct coding in the general ledger.

• Review existing processes and suggest improvements on these. 
  

• About You
  You will be CA, ACCA or CPA qualified with strong Excel skills, experienced with financial & management accounting and business performance reporting. You will also have strong management and communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships are also key.
