This is a great opportunity step into a small, tight knit finance team, with the ability to learn from a long standing highly experienced CFO. A fast growing business that has several exciting financial projects and plans to get involved in. They put their people at the forefront of everything they do, and have outstanding retention. This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to roll up your sleeves owning processes end-to-end rather than just reviewing or overseeing them.

DUTIES
Reporting directly to the CFO - You will be responsible for the accounting function day-to-day.
Accounts Payable & Receivable oversight - Manage end-to-end AP and AR processes, including payment runs, debtor follow-ups.
Own the month-end close - Deliver accurate and timely monthly accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and analysis.
Management & financial reporting - Prepare monthly management reports including sales analysis, GP margins, cost analysis, and budget variance commentary for leadership and external stakeholders.
Compliance & statutory reporting - BAS, PAYG , FBT returns and income tax.
Budgeting, forecasting & Cash flow analysis- Assist with annual budgeting, capex management, and ongoing budget analysis/forecasting.
Systems & ERP management - Maintain and improve the ERP system, resolve errors and support system enhancements.
Stakeholder collaboration - Partner with Operations, Marketing, Customer Service and Leadership teams to ensure accurate billing, rebates, reporting and commercial insights.

You have experience contributing to small process improvement projects and enjoy finding better ways of doing things.

YOUR SKILLS
Bring several years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ideally within a small to medium commercial organisation.
Experienced in using ERP systems (essential), beyond Xero & MYOB
CA/CPA qualifications (preferred- not essential)
Possess strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate financial risks.
Embrace a hands-on, team-focused approach, collaborating with colleagues across the business.
