Our client is a privately-owned group of companies within the mechanical services sector based in Brisbane. Their dedicated team is committed to delivering high quality commercial and industrial projects.

They are currently seeking an Administration Assistant with general administrative experience to support daily office operations and help ensure an efficient and well-organized workflow.

About the Role

As an Administration Assistant, you will deliver key administrative support across the business and assist with reception duties as required. The position is ideal for a proactive, well-organised individual who is comfortable working across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative and general office support across the business
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all departments and staff
  • Support project and site managers with day-to-day administration
  • Manage document control, filing, and data entry tasks
  • Handle reception duties including answering and directing calls and inquiries
  • Welcome and assist visitors and maintain front desk operations
  • Provide ad hoc support across departments as required (e.g. Service team)
  • Assist with basic accounts payable and receivable tasks when needed

  • Previous experience in an administrative role

  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with trades and contractors
  • Highly organised with strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Detail-focused with a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement
