Administration Officer

About the role

Join our small but dynamic team at Hetherington Exploration & Mining Title Services (QLD) as a full-time Office Administrator based in Spring Hill, Queensland. In this important role, you will be supporting our busy Tenement Managers for the effective management of QLD company's mineral tenements, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the exploration and mining activities of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain comprehensive records and databases to track the status of all tenements

• Support Tenement Manager to ensure all tenement-related documentation, reporting, and payments are completed accurately and on time to maintain compliance

• Liaise with government authorities and stakeholders to address tenement-related queries and resolve any issues that arise

• Support the preparation of tenders, bids, and proposals requiring tenement information

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of tenement management

What we're looking for

• Minimum Certificate IV qualification required for this position or the interest in getting one

• A team player who is mature minded

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an office environment, preferred but not necessary

• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve tenement-related issues

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Australian citizenship is required for this position
