SITECH Construction Systems is the Trimble Heavy Construction distributors for the Eastern and Central Australia. Trimble offers a range of GNSS and UTS machine control systems to suit graders, excavators, dozers, scrapers, compactors and more. Trimble machine control systems provide guidance to the operator to comply with a 3D model in civil construction and mining.

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and capable Product Support Representative to join our Queensland team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical support and practical advice to users of Trimble machine control and site positioning systems.

This is a diverse and hands-on position, suited to someone with strong technical knowledge who enjoys problem solving and supporting customers both remotely and in the field.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and respond to support cases through Microsoft CRM

• Provide phone-based troubleshooting for Trimble GPS hardware, wiring, and machine control systems with operators and field technicians

• Coordinate and schedule field technicians for onsite repairs and support

• Process work orders, including invoicing and warranty submissions

• Deliver training and guidance to customers on SPS and machine control systems

• Attend Trimble training across the Asia-Pacific region

• Build strong working relationships across the wider Herga Group

About you

• Previous experience with machine control GPS systems is highly preferred

• Exposure to Trimble solutions will be highly regarded (similar systems e.g. Topcon, Leica also favourable)

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate clearly with customers

• Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks

• Willing to learn, with training provided where required

This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in machine control technology who is looking to transition into a more office-based support position while still staying connected to the field.
