About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to support site administration and operations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth and timely administrative operations across the site.
You will work closely with administration and operational teams, providing administrative support through systems management, procurement assistance, and general recordkeeping.
The role has become available due to the current administrative support person moving into another area of the business and will remain available to support.
This is a full-time office-based role. Some flexibility in working hours can be discussed to accommodate schedules – subject to agreement.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the operations team providing administrative support to daily manufacturing activity
Manage documentation, including filing and records control
Support procurement activities including ordering, tracking, and receipting goods and services in our ERP
Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and invoice matching
Ensure accurate data entry across inventory, safety and maintenance management systems
Provide general administrative support to production, maintenance, safety and quality and site operations, including supporting meetings and organising the calendar for the operations team
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience in administration, or operations support
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Good understanding of purchasing processes (purchase orders, receipting, invoicing)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with trades, suppliers, and internal teams
Desirable Attributes
Experience in a manufacturing, quarry, or industrial environment
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational setting
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
