About the Project

The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project will double the number of rail tracks and upgrade stations for a 20 kilometre section of the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines between Kuraby, a suburb south of Brisbane's CBD, and Beenleigh, a suburb of Logan City. Acciona, as part of the ActivUS Alliance, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support the successful delivery of a major rail infrastructure program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark project within a collaborative alliance environment.

About the Role
  • Lead the commercial and contractual management of key work packages
  • Work closely with delivery teams and alliance partners
  • Drive strong commercial outcomes and risk management
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead contract management and administration across major packages
  • Provide commercial advice to leadership and project teams
  • Manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks
  • Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with contracts and alliance frameworksBuild strong stakeholder relationships
Skills and Experience we are seeking
  • Relevant Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Law or Commercial
  • 10+ years' contracts management experience in major infrastructure/construction
  • Strong capability in negotiation, claims, and dispute resolution
  • Proven delivery on complex projects with solid risk and cost management
  • Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and legislation
  • Effective leader with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and experience with contract systems/tools
  • Work on a flagship infrastructure project
