About the Role
Career Employment Australia Ltd (CEA) is recruiting for Administrative Assistant for our Coorparoo Office. This position will be assisting the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program at Coorparoo. They will assist with general phone calls and booking pre-training assessment appointments for potential clients for the SEE Program.
Experience in dealing with education and training will be an advantage. As this position will be dealing with multicultural clients you must have patience in dealing with them on the phone. You must be able to communicate with government agencies and client referral agencies. Although this is a full time position we may be willing to consider part time applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answer general phone calls.
2. Book pre-training assessment appointments for clients.
3. Assist with distribution of marketing material when required.
4. Support other SEE Program staff both in Head Office and regionally.
5. Submit claims for payment through the departmental online system.
6. Assist with general SEE Program compliance.
7. Assist with SEE Program audits.

1. Previous office experience.

Career Employment Australia Ltd (CEA) is a not for profit community based organisation which has been delivering funded entry level training to disadvantaged groups for over 40 years. CEA delivers vocational education and training which supports young people, families and the wider community. This position is part of the SEE Program team and reports to the SEE Program Manager.
