This Queensland-based community services group delivers a broad range of support services to some of the most vulnerable people in the community. Operating across multiple service lines and entities, the organisation has grown significantly in recent years and is continuing to expand - both organically and through acquisition. The Role
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will lead the day-to-day finance function across multiple entities, managing a growing team of 6 FTE. Hands-on and operational with real strategic exposure - keeping things moving and building scalable processes as the group grows.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day leadership and development of the finance team
Monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
ATO and statutory compliance across a multi-entity group
Audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
Award interpretation and payroll compliance
Strengthening controls, governance and risk management frameworks
Systems improvement and automation
Financial modelling for tenders, funding submissions and growth initiatives

About You

CPA or CA qualified (or working towards), degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years in a finance leadership role, ideally within community services or NFP
Comfortable owning both operational and strategic finance responsibilities
Adaptable and energised by a high-growth environment
Must be able to obtain relevant working with vulnerable people checks
