About the Role

Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner ready to drive strategic financial excellence and support executive decision-making? We're seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to partner with Division leaders, providing financial expertise and commercial insights that shape business strategy and operational performance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering – Enablement and Support Services, you'll play a key role in translating complex financial data into actionable strategies, supporting business cases and initiatives, and helping leaders make informed decisions that safeguard our growth and profitability.

What you'll be doing

As our Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll be the financial voice for Division leaders, driving commercial outcomes and strategic alignment. Your key responsibilities will include:

·         Financial Leadership & Commercial Support: Partner with Executives as the trusted finance expert, providing recommendations on commercial constructs, business cases, and financial models for strategic initiatives.

·         Performance Insights & Analysis: Identify performance opportunities through rigorous analysis and interpretation of financial data, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.

·         Financial Reporting & Planning: Deliver financial and managerial reports to support operational improvement, and support planning and reforecasting processes with appropriate challenge and rigour.

·         Commercial Modelling: Develop commercial models, prepare financial inputs for business cases, and support contract renewals with financial rigour.

·         Process Improvement: Seek and execute process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and drive better commercial outcomes.

·         Risk Management: Understand and communicate financial implications and risks of performance, projects, initiatives, and contracts to key stakeholders.

What experience you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Essential:

• Formal qualifications in a relevant area and/or CA/CPA/CIMA accreditation
• Five years' experience in a finance role within a comparable organisational environment
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to critically analyse performance indicators, contracts, systems and processes
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collate and interpret data from multiple sources
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities—able to challenge and coach leaders respectfully on areas of technical knowledge
• High level of self-awareness and personal effectiveness
• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and identify optimisation opportunities

Highly desirable:

• Familiarity with TM1, Power BI, or similar analytics and reporting tools
• Experience in the Banking, Finance & Insurance industry and understanding of current and emerging regulatory, commercial, technology and operational trends
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams on strategic business initiatives
• Track record of embedding process improvements and automation within finance teams
