Company
This business is a large, well-established national fire services provider delivering inspection, testing, maintenance and compliance solutions across commercial, industrial and government sectors. With a strong footprint across Australia, they are recognised for their technical capability, reliable service delivery, and long-standing client relationships.

The organisation has a strong internal culture built around safety, accountability, and teamwork, with a genuine focus on staff development, career progression, and supporting high-performing teams in the field.

Position
Due to continued growth, a Branch Manager role has become available within the Rockhampton branch. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving commercial outcomes, and leading a team of field technicians and support staff within a busy service environment.

This role would suit someone from a trade services background who has progressed into branch management, operations management, or service leadership and understands the demands of field-based technical industries such as fire services, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or similar.

Responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing day-to-day branch operations and team performance
* Overseeing scheduling, workflow coordination, and field service delivery
* Driving revenue growth and managing key client accounts
* Managing branch P&L, budgeting, and cost control
* Ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety standards and WHS requirements
* Developing strong relationships with commercial and industrial clients
* Recruiting, training, and developing technicians and support staff
* Maintaining high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction

Candidate
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a branch management, service management, or operational leadership role within a trade services environment. A background in fire services is highly regarded, but not essential. Strong leadership ability and commercial acumen are essential for success in this position.

The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include:
* Experience in branch management, operations, or service leadership
* Trade services background (fire, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or similar highly regarded)
* Strong people leadership and team management experience
* Solid understanding of P&L, budgeting, or commercial performance
* Strong customer relationship and account management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a stable national business offering strong culture, long-term career prospects, and excellent financial rewards.

Offers of employment are subject to candidates providing evidence of work rights in Australia and presenting a clear and valid police record check prior to commencement.
