alenza have partnered with a global heavy industries organisation who are currently seeking an experienced IT/Desktop Support professional to support them on a long term, contractual basis. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, have strong IT support experience as well as ServiceNow for ticketing.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated Level 2 IT support experience providing onsite and remote support across enterprise desktop environments, with a strong focus on customer service and SLA-driven incident and request resolution.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), and collaboration tools such as AV and conferencing systems.
  • Strong endpoint management capability, including workstation build, deployment, and provisioning using tools such as SCCM and Microsoft Intune, along with desktop and peripheral hardware support.
  • Proven use of IT Service Management platforms, ideally ServiceNow, to log, prioritise, update, and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with ITIL practices.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to Level 3/4 support or vendors when required, while contributing to root-cause analysis and knowledge sharing.
  • Experience supporting IT operations and projects, including change management activities, documentation maintenance, asset and stock management, and collaboration with Service Desk, Cyber, and third-party providers.
