Cairns Electrical Rewinds & Repairs has been proudly servicing Far North Queensland since 2003. As a trusted local business, we specialise in the repair and maintenance of electric motors, generators, welders, power tools, and a wide range of industrial and commercial electrical equipment.

We're looking for a positive, organised, and customer-focused individual to become an important part of our team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers while helping to keep our office and workshop operations running smoothly.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position offers 24–30 hours per week, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We offer flexibility in hours for the right candidate and a supportive, family-oriented work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming customers and booking equipment in for repair

• Answering phone enquiries and responding to emails professionally and efficiently

• Preparing quotes and assisting with spare parts identification and ordering

• Processing warranty claims and customer documentation

• Handling cash, EFTPOS transactions and general receipting

• Receiving, unpacking and checking incoming deliveries

• Providing administrative support to the workshop team

• Delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills

• A friendly and professional telephone manner

• Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and general office systems

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• The ability to multitask and work independently

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
