About the role
This casual / or full-time role will see you working in a busy, vibrant deli environment, assisting with the cutting, slicing, preparation and service of high-quality deli goods and other deli produce to our discerning customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Slicing a variety of deli charcuterie such as ham, salame, saucisson, prosciutto as well as over 100 varieties of cheeses

2. Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their orders

3. Restocking and maintaining the presentation of the deli displays

4. Ensuring work areas are clean, well-organised and full adherence to all food safety and hygiene standards

5. Supporting the wider deli team as needed with various tasks

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working in a deli (a minimum of six months)

2. Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer experiences

3. Previous slicing machine operation experience

4. Cheese cutting experience (preferred, but not essential)

5. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills

7. A keen interest in gourmet ingredients

8. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
