About the role
We are seeking an Administration and Customer Service professional to join our team at our Caboolture, Queensland location on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive outstanding support whilst maintaining efficient administrative operations. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, handling enquiries, managing bookings, processing orders and providing exceptional service that reflects Arctic Campers' commitment to excellence. This position offers the opportunity to develop a broad skill set across both customer-facing and back-office functions.
Key responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in-person, providing accurate information about products, services and bookings
Process customer orders, bookings and payments accurately and efficiently
Manage customer databases and maintain detailed records of transactions and interactions
Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, working toward satisfactory resolutions
Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, invoicing and documentation
Prepare quotations, contracts and other customer-related documentation
Support the sales team by providing relevant customer information and administrative assistance
Maintain filing systems and ensure information is organised and easily accessible
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management tasks as required
Contribute to achieving sales and customer service targets through proactive engagement
What we're looking for
Proven experience in administration, customer service or a similar client-facing role within a sales or service-oriented environment
Minimum 2+ years of administration and customer service experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers
Proficiency with computer systems, including email, Microsoft Office and ideally point-of-sale or booking management software
Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency required, including skills in formatting documents and creating formulas
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Customer-focused mindset with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders, data entry and documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Professional telephone manner and ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and patience
Willingness to learn about Arctic Campers' products and services
Preferred: Experience in the camping, recreational vehicle, tourism or hospitality sectors
