About Us

Industrial Fittings Sales is Australia’s leader wholesale supplier of fittings, valves, hoses, pipe systems and associated products, servicing customers across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, government, construction, fleet & transport, mining, agriculture, domestic LPG and Gas, Plumbing and numerous other industries.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Rocklea team in a blended Counter Sales/Customer Service Sales role.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting customers both at the sales counter and over the phone, providing product advice, processing orders and assisting with technical enquiries.

No two days are the same, with responsibilities spanning customer service, sales support, quoting, order processing and inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to trade, wholesale and retail customers

• Assist customers with product selection and technical enquiries

• Process sales orders, quotations and invoices accurately

• Respond to phone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Support customers at the sales counter

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Liaise with warehouse staff regarding stock availability and customer orders

• Assist with stock control and inventory management

• Work closely with the external sales team to support customer requirements

• Maintain a clean, organised and professional branch environment

About You

The successful applicant will possess:

• Previous experience in customer service, counter sales, internal sales or trade sales

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn technical products

• Ability to work effectively within a small team environment

Highly Regarded

• Previous experience within the industrial, agriculture, hydraulic, pneumatic, domestic gas, plumbing, industrial, hardware or trade supply industries

• Knowledge of domestic gas, LPG or natural gas systems would be an advantage, but not essential

• Ideal for anyone with a Technical, mechanical or trade background

• Forklift licence an advantage, but not required
