Company Description My Family General Practice is a community-focused medical clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care. My Family General Practice promotes a collaborative work environment where healthcare professionals can deliver high-quality care and continue to grow in their careers.Role Description This is a General Practitioner role based on-site at our clinic in Victoria Point, QLD. The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care for acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include conducting routine health checks, managing preventive care and screening programs, prescribing medications, and coordinating referrals to specialists and allied health providers. The role also involves maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, participating in case discussions, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The General Practitioner will work closely with nurses, administrative staff, and other clinicians to deliver safe, efficient, and culturally sensitive care.Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions in a general practice setting.Demonstrated experience or training in Family Medicine, including preventive care, health promotion, and continuity of care for individuals and families.Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, team-based patient care.Commitment to ongoing Training and professional development, including keeping current with clinical guidelines and best practices.Current medical registration (or eligibility for registration) with relevant Australian medical boards and appropriate vocational qualifications (e.g., FRACGP or equivalent).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy, cultural safety, and informed consent.Strong organizational and time management abilities, including efficient use of clinical software and electronic health records.Experience working in community or general practice settings in Australia is highly regarded.
