yourtown is a trusted provider of services for young people, with a focus on mental health and wellbeing, long-term unemployment, prevention of youth suicide, child protection, as well as support for those experiencing domestic and family violence.

Based at Deception Bay and working with the Family Support Services team, The Communities for Children initiative is a federally funded, whole of community response aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of children aged 0-12 years in the Deception Bay community. This is a fixed term position until June 2027 working 4 days per week, Tuesday -Friday.
You will be committed, knowledgeable and experienced in applying Community Development principles and approaches. You will have a deep understanding of social justice, equity, and empowerment and will be able to demonstrate how you have worked with marginalised communities to amplify their voice and bring change.
