• Some regional travel may be required

Do you have experience in child protection, foster care, kinship care or family assessments? Are you passionate about supporting carers to create safe, nurturing homes for children and young people?

Collective Caring is seeking an experienced and values-driven Assessor to join our growing team.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting Foster and Kinship Carer assessments
• Interviewing carers, children and support networks
• Writing high-quality assessment reports
• Presenting recommendations to Accreditation Panels
• Supporting foster carer training when required
• Working alongside a passionate and supportive team

We're looking for someone who

• Has strong assessment and report writing skills
• Understands Queensland child protection legislation and practice frameworks
• Builds genuine relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
• Is confident having difficult conversations with compassion and professionalism
• Shares our commitment to children, families and carers
