Casual Disability Support Workers

CASUAL position available in Ipswich and some Brisbane suburbs.

Do you have a passion for working with people with a disability and/or mental health concerns? Affinity Disability Services are looking for Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich.

Your Role

As a Disability Support Worker you will be supporting the most important people in our organisation - our participants.

Your tasks may include:

• Providing the very best care and support to participants in line with their care plans and NDIS goals.

• Undertake personal care duties which may include cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and social and community participation.

• Provide support duties which may include shopping, transport etc

Your Attributes

You have:

• A warm and nurturing nature

• A positive attitude

• The willingness to go the extra mile

• Ability to build rapport and engage with participants

• Cert 3, or above, in Disabilities, or a related area, or currently studying such

• Blue card and yellow card or ability to obtain these

• Current Queensland driver's licence and a registered car with comprehensive car insurance

• Current first aid and CPR

• Mobile phone
