Primo Foods is looking for a hands-on Community Coordinator to provide end‑to‑end support to our Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Team Members at our Wacol site. In this pivotal role, you’ll guide workers through their journey with Primo - from arrival to departure - ensuring compliance with PALM program requirements while creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end mobilisation support, including accommodation setup, transport coordination, shopping assistance, banking, communications, and pastoral care

  • Prepare onboarding packs, deliver arrival presentations, and ensure adherence to all PALM Deed and DEWR onboarding requirements

  • Conduct regular welfare checks, house inspections, and oversee vehicle allocation and use

  • Coordinate demobilisation tasks such as visa cancellations, flight changes, offboarding documentation, and furniture removal

  • Maintain accurate immigration, financial and compliance data records in alignment with PALM Scheme obligations

  • Collaborate with HR, Welfare & Wellbeing, Training, Finance, and external partners to deliver consistent, culturally sensitive support

  • Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups.

  • Support ongoing improvements to systems, processes, and tools for PALM worker mobilisation

  • Stay current with Pacific Labour Mobility Scheme requirements to guide and support internal teams

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in administration, customer service, community support, or a similar role, ideally within a high-volume blue-collar environment

  • Knowledge of offshore recruitment, mobility processes or experience with PALM/PLF programs.

  • Excellent organisation, planning and problem-solving skills in fast paced environments

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse cultural groups

  • Sound judgement, situational awareness, and the ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a team

  • Resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting people through change and transition

Why Join Primo?

At Primo, we're committed to creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and connected. You'll also enjoy:

  • Discounts on health insurance and leading retail partners

  • Exclusive savings at the Hans onsite butcher & deli shop

  • A workplace that prioritises inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement

  • Opportunities to grow your career in a national food manufacturing leader

If you’re passionate about community support and want to play a meaningful role in the PALM program at Primo Foods, we’d love to hear from you.
