We have permanent roster lines available across our SIL homes in Mackay, offering 40–50-hour fortnightly contracts with a mix of days, afternoons and sleepover supports (up to 4 sleepovers per FN). These roster lines are part of a permanent schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts where available. To be considered for this role, you will be required to have open availability.

Working within our SIL (Supported Independent Living) home in Mackay, you will provide support, assisting people with disabilities to live as independently as possible, whether they have complex needs or just need some additional support at home. No two days will be the same - you may hear that phrase a lot but here at Endeavour Foundation, you will see it in action!

Our ideal candidate is a calm, compassionate, and professional Disability Support Worker with experience supporting individuals with complex support needs and behaviours of concern. You will be confident providing personal care and supporting daily living tasks while creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. The ability to remain calm under pressure, respond appropriately to challenging situations, and build trusting relationships is essential for success in this role.
