We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Electrician to join our Maintenance Team at our Commercial Laundry Plant located in Banyo, QLD 4014.

If you have a background in FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods) manufacturing or want to learn about FMCG manufacturing, then this role may be right for you.

We are looking for qualified Industrial Electricians with the right culture fit, a bright attitude, and the willingness to learn within a team environment.

Permanent Full-Time – Monday to Friday (weekly rotating shifts between morning and afternoon).

  • Dayshift: 04:30 am to 12:36 pm or 06:00 am to 2:06 pm

  • Afternoon shift: 2:00 pm to 10:06 pm.

  • Some weekend overtime may be required, depending on business needs.

This position is required to work across both Day and Afternoon shifts; fixed shift selection is not available for this position.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and electrical systems, responding to breakdowns in a timely and proactive way.

  • Be able to work independently and proactively on preventative maintenance, breakdowns and new installation work.

  • Support and guide team members by sharing knowledge and coaching safe equipment use.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives, helping build a strong site culture.

  • Be safety-focused and process-driven.

About You

You will bring:

  • Current QLD Electrical License (Open)

  • Hepatitis B vaccination

  • LVR/CPR certification.

  • Role requires a valid National Police Check dated within the last 6 months.

  • Able to work weekly rotating shifts

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfort using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn other systems as required.
