The Coconut Hut is now looking to employ a fulltime experienced Landscape Gardener to join our team. We are offering a yearly salary $75,515 - $86,000 depending on experience. The right candidate will be responsible for:

• Mowing, trimming, tree cutting and pruning
• Plants, transplants, fertilizers, applies chemicals, waters, prunes and weeds flows beds and plant areas.
• Installing, operating, repairing and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Work with hand tools and machinery such as plants vehicle and diggers.
• Perform maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking
• Maintain all areas clean and tidy
• Train and supervise junior gardeners
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
• Seeding and sodding lawns
• Keep plants and flowers healthy by pruning and trimming trees and shrubs and weeding, mulching and aerating.
• Maintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survival
• Distributes proper fertilisers, insecticides and organic materials
• Install and maintain hard scapes
• Water plant and grass as needed and apply fertilisers

About You:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Landscape Gardener
• Holds Certificate III in Landscape Construction
• Strong ability to operate and control landscape and gardening equipment
• Strong physical skills like lifting, bending and reaching
• The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools
• Strong attention to detail.
