The roles

We're hiring at multiple levels across both Darra and Yeronga:

Room Assistants — Cert III qualified educators with a solid understanding of Montessori philosophy and practical experience applying it in a classroom setting.

Room Leads — Diploma qualified educators ready to take full ownership of a room, lead a small team, and drive quality Montessori outcomes through intentional, well-documented programming.

Both roles use StoryPark for daily observations, programming, and direct parent communication.

What you'll be doing

You'll be planning and delivering intentional Montessori activities, writing daily and weekly observations, guiding children's social development, and contributing to monthly programming. You'll work alongside a passionate team with the support of an experienced Centre Director who is hands-on and present.

What we're looking for

• Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum) — Diploma required for Lead roles

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Montessori philosophy and practice — this is non-negotiable

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in an early education setting, ideally Montessori

• Current First Aid and CPR

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week across shifts between 6:30am and 6:00pm

Little Wonders Montessori has been serving Brisbane families since 2009. Our centres in Darra (81 Darra Station Rd) and Yeronga (156 School Rd) offer long day care for children aged 15 months to 5 years.
