ABOUT THE ROLE

We are recruiting experienced Boners, Slicers and Slaughtermen to support our daily beef and lamb processing operations. This work is hands-on and fast paced, and we are looking for people who take pride in producing clean, accurate and high-quality cuts. Typical duties include:

  • Stunning and processing livestock

  • Removing hides and internal organs

  • Preparing carcasses for further processing

  • Cutting, trimming and separating meat, fat and tissue from bones

  • Producing standard cuts such as flanks, rumps and shoulders

  • Operating restrainers, hoists and stunning equipment

  • Slitting, eviscerating and trimming carcasses

  • Cleaning and preparing meat for packing and export

  • Following hygiene, safety and animal welfare procedures at all times

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in the meat industry is essential

  • Certificate III in Meat Processing is preferred

  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive and manual tasks

  • Good hygiene and attention to detail

  • Willing to receive the Q-fever vaccination

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Work rights in Australia are required

  • Willing to learn and grow within the team

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment safely and consistently
