Diploma qualified Lead Educator

Carmichael Kids Child Care and Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to join our growing team.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework.

• Uphold the requirements of a Child Safe Organisation and our commitment to child safety. The successful applicant will have understanding of the 10 Child Safe Standards and Universal Principle.

• Leading the development of the educational program including planning and programming and creating provocations suitable for a play-based learning environment.

• Ensuring programs are inclusive and reflect the holistic needs of all children.

• Building positive relationships with parents and children.

• Ensuring the care and development of each child in the group and support the monitoring their educational achievement.

• Passion for integrating the Christian faith and character development in all aspects of our environment, reflective of the Service Philosophy.

Position Requirements:

• Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check QLD).

• Relevant ACECQA approved Qualifications.

• First Aid and Anaphylaxis Training.

• Asthma Management Training.

• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
