  • Warehouse Worker/Driver (12-Month Contract Fixed Term/possibility of transitioning to a permanent part-time position for suitable candidate) Location: Brisbane, QLD

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (Renewable). This is a part-time role working Wednesday to Friday, ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with picking, packing,sorting items for dispatch, often in retail environments and preparing customer orders

  • Support daily warehouse operations and stock handling

  • Follow instructions and safety procedures at all times

  • Operating Company Delivery vehicle and basic logistics tasks

  • Manually loading and unloading shipping containers, often with palletizing tasks

  • Managing inventory, checking stock accuracy, and assisting with general logistics

  • Processing incoming and outgoing freight and coordinating deliveries

  • Maintaining warehouse hygiene and operating industrial floor cleaning equipment

Minimum Pay & Work Conditions:

This role will be paid in accordance with the Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines under the applicable award

(Road Transport and Distribution Award [MA000038] or the Storage Services and Wholesale Award [MA000084]

  • Employment Type: Fixed term Contract 12 months (3 days per week: Wednesday to Friday)- Renewable

  • Minimum Pay: Pay & Conditions:In line with Fair Work Ombudsman standards (minimum award rates + super).

  • Penalty rates and overtime will apply where applicable

Selection Criteria:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a valid Australian driver’s licence (open licence required)

  • Is knowledgeable and familiar with Brisbane driving routes

  • Has at least 3 years of driving experience in Queensland

  • Is responsible, reliable, efficient and hardworking

  • Can follow instructions accurately

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and accuracy

  • Is willing to undertake occasional overtime when required

  • Is able to assist with order preparation and handling

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience operating a pallet stacker/forklift(not required but a plus)
