St Joseph's Nudgee College is seeking a Teacher Librarian to join our Learning & Teaching team in a full-time fixed-term position for Terms 3 and 4, 2026.

This is a rewarding opportunity to foster literacy, curiosity and a love of learning within a vibrant school community. Through specialist literacy and information literacy lessons, classroom teaching and collaboration with colleagues, you will help students develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to thrive.

The Role

You will:

• Teach specialist literacy and information literacy lessons for students in Years 6 and 7

• Teach in an additional learning area

• Collaborate with teachers to support teaching and learning

• Promote literacy, reading engagement and research skills

• Curate and manage contemporary print and digital resources

• Support students and staff in the effective use of information technologies

• Contribute to a welcoming, innovative and future-focused Learning Centre

About You

You are an enthusiastic educator who values literacy, learning and student success.

You will have:

• Current Queensland College of Teachers registration

• Relevant teaching and Teacher Librarian qualifications

• Strong knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning practices

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• A genuine love of literature and lifelong learning
