Educator

At Play and Learn Raceview we are a child safe organisation and we strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. Working together to create and maintain a child safe environment/culture.

We are looking for Educators to uphold a high standard of child safety and committed to supporting each child to learn and develop in a safe environment. This role supports our team across a roster Monday- Friday with shifts between 6:30am-6:30pm.

Educator’s duties include;

·         Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children at the service through active supervision and learning

·         Committed to improving the educational and developmental outcomes for all children, supporting the rights and best interests of the child and always making sure children are at the centre of all our decision making

·         Working closely with families to ensure children’s health, safety and wellbeing.

·         Providing accurate and timely reporting as required 

·         Promoting and contributing to continuous improvement of quality education and care.

Who we are looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have;

·         Diploma or studying towards a Diploma in Early Childhood

·         Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and Learning Frameworks

·         Experience in rating and assessment (desirable)

·         Exceptional customer service skills

·         Highly developed communication skills

·         Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional relationships and providing a safe environment for all children, educators and families

Successful candidates are subject to a current valid working with children’s check (Blue Card), First Aid certificate and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and Child Protection Training.
