We are Calvary Christian College, located in Townsville—an independent, co-educational school dedicated to excellence in Christian education for more than 1,100 students, from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12.
Our (ELC) provides a nurturing and engaging environment across three vibrant rooms: one Junior Kindy and two Kindy rooms. Here, children thrive in a safe, welcoming, and enriching setting where a strong sense of belonging and connection is fostered.

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Educator to join our Team on a Permanent Part-Time basis (with the benefit of additional Casual hours) for an immediate start, working approximately 20 hours a week.
At Calvary Early Learning Centre, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to creating a nurturing and holistic learning environment where children can thrive.
The role of Educator is to work cooperatively as a member of a Team that generates and maintains a play-based learning environment for children from 2-5 years to support positive outcomes under the National Quality Framework, Regulations and National Quality Standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have a current Working with Children Check Blue Card (Paid) and a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent at a minimum.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience working with young children.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management Certification.
- Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for Early Childhood education.
