The RoleWe are currently seeking expressions of interest to join our Telecommunications Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland’s Eagle Farm Campus.
As a Casual TAFE Teacher within the Security, Telecommunications and Locksmithing trade, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the relevant Business Manager.
BenefitsApplicants must possess UEE31425 Certificate III in Security Equipment, or MEM30919 Certificate III in Locksmithing or equivalent, and the following:
Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
Please note applicants need not necessarily possess teaching experience, as the right candidate may be trained and developed through coaching, mentoring and partnering. Importance is placed on possession of the appropriate qualifications, industry experience and the right attitude.
