Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a full-time, experienced Information Management Coordinator to manage and organise medical records, optimise digital health information systems, and ensure data security and integrity. Roles & Responsibilities: Duties will be but not limited to:

  • Analyse organisational information management practices to identify risks in data handling, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with medical data protection and privacy legislation.
  • Provide strategic advice on business and information management operations, driving continuous improvement through the adoption of contemporary healthcare data management frameworks and systems.
  • Develop, review, and advise on policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements relating to data security, patient confidentiality, and healthcare compliance.
  • Design, implement, and oversee information systems and processes for the collection, organisation, digitisation, classification, and storage of medical records, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Liaise with IT and technical teams to evaluate, maintain, and enhance electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including troubleshooting issues and improving system functionality and user experience.
  • Monitor and audit information quality through regular reviews of electronic and physical records, ensuring accurate classification, version control, and readiness for digitisation and retrieval.
  • Analyse data sets to identify trends, risks, and operational insights, supporting evidence-based decision-making and the development of secure, integrated databases across patient, clinical, and administrative functions.
  • Identify inefficiencies in organisational processes and information flows, and recommend improvements to optimise business systems, workflows, and digital integration.
  • Lead and support the implementation of information management initiatives, including training staff on systems, data governance practices, and effective use of organisational information.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance, data quality, compliance outcomes, and organisational efficiency to support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor-level qualification is required.
  • The candidate must have at least 1 year’s relevant experience.
  • Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.
  • To be energetic & motivated.
