FIFO Maintenance Plumber – Far North QLD (NPA)

$50–$70/hr | Flights, Accommodation & Meals Included | Ongoing Work

ZK Construction Group is looking for a qualified plumber to join our remote operations team delivering maintenance and upgrade works across Far North Queensland's remote communities.

This is a FIFO role suited to someone who enjoys variety, works well independently, and is comfortable living and working in remote locations. You'll be part of a small team carrying out essential works that directly support community housing, government facilities and local infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance
• Fault diagnosis and rectification
• Installation of plumbing fixtures and systems
• Upgrade and refurbishment projects
• Completion of job records and site documentation
• Working across residential, commercial and government facilities

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Plumbing
• White Card
• Experience in maintenance, construction or refurbishment projects
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Previous remote or FIFO experience advantageous but not essential

About the Role

This position involves working across remote Indigenous communities throughout Cape York and the Torres Strait region. The successful applicant will be reliable, adaptable and capable of delivering high-quality outcomes in challenging environments.
