The Glen Hotel is seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our award-winning venue in Eight Mile Plains. We're an all-encompassing destination featuring our Deck Bar, Charles Baker Coffee & Donut Shop, Lily Restaurant, Gaming Room, 4.5-star accommodation as well as 5 diverse event spaces.

The Glen is an independent venue, owned by the same family for over 65 years. We are an essential part of our local community, and our team has a genuine passion for hospitality - creating a place where customers feel welcome and comfortable, with a focus on delivering exceptional service alongside our strong food and beverage offerings.

About The Role

We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping our venue running smoothly and can lead a small maintenance team with confidence. With plans to expand the venue in the next two years, this is your opportunity to be part of something special in a dynamic, award-winning environment.

Our Maintenance Manager role is hands-on which is critical to stay in touch with the daily operations of the venue while leading with professionalism and a proactive approach.

Minimum Requirements

We're looking for:

Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably in hospitality
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and general building maintenance
Ability to delegate effectively and manage multiple priorities across the venue
Organised, calm under pressure, with attention to quality and detail
A genuine passion and enthusiasm for maintaining high standards with the ability to train and inspire your team
Ability to foster close collaboration with all departments to effectively address and resolve issues as they arise
Relevant trade qualifications and understanding of WHS requirements and compliance obligations
