Maintenance Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading beverage and bottling manufacturer in Queensland.

Working on a rotating fortnightly roster, you'll play a key role in maintaining high-speed production and packaging equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and plant reliability.

• $56.71/hr equivalent ($115,000 + Super)

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical breakdown diagnosis and repair
• Preventative and corrective maintenance
• Planned shutdown and reliability activities
• Maintaining high-speed bottling and packaging equipment
• Fault-finding on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings and pneumatic systems
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Working safely in a fast-paced production environment

About You

• Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
• Experience within FMCG, beverage, bottling, food manufacturing, packaging or similar manufacturing environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to work effectively within a team and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
