As a TAFE Teacher you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace. The RoleWe have two (2) exciting Temporary full-time positions (to 30 June 2027, unless otherwise determined) available to join our Electrical Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland’s Alexandra Hills Campus.
As a TAFE Teacher in Electrical, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the relevant Business Manager.
BenefitsApplicants must possess UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, or equivalent, and the following:
Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
Please note applicants need not necessarily possess teaching experience, as the right candidate may be trained and developed through coaching, mentoring and partnering. Importance is placed on possession of the appropriate qualifications, industry experience and the right attitude.
