About The Role We’re seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Storman development team, modernise our platform, and drive our next phase of growth, with a strong customer and commercial focus. What You’ll Be Doing Leadership & Strategy Set clear technical direction and inspire the engineering teamShape engineering strategy aligned to product and business goalsChampion modern tools, practices, and ways of workingContribute to roadmap planning and platform evolution Technical & Delivery Lead development of Storman’s SaaS web platformStay hands-on with architecture, key initiatives, and problem-solvingEnsure systems are scalable, secure, and maintainableDrive engineering standards, code quality, and documentationGuide best practices across AWS, APIs, and databases People Leadership Mentor, coach, and grow a high-performing teamLead Agile rituals and delivery cyclesBalance strategic leadership with hands-on contributionFoster a strong, accountable engineering culture Stakeholder & Strategic Customer Engagement Act as a senior technical advisor supporting strategic customer engagementsContribute to customer conversations that shape solutions and influence product directionTranslate technical concepts into clear business value and customer outcomesPartner with Product and Customer teams to proactively support customer success and key initiativesProvide leadership during complex discussions, workshops, and escalations SALARY The salary range for this role is $190, 000 – 220, 000 About You You’re a proven engineering leader who balances hands-on technical depth with strong leadership capability. You operate effectively in Agile environments, collaborate across Product and Infrastructure, and contribute confidently to strategic customer conversations. You bring a strong customer and commercial mindset, with the ability to deliver outcomes that align technical excellence with real business value. Experience supporting transformation or migration initiatives will be highly valuable as we continue our transition to AWS.
