Senior Structural Engineer

We're partnering with one of Australia's fastest growing development consultancies to find a Senior Structural Engineer for their Brisbane CBD office. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll run structural design delivery end to end across residential, commercial and industrial projects. You'll have real autonomy, direct client contact and the chance to mentor a growing team. Their team spans project management, civil and structural engineering, surveying, planning and water services, delivering across urban, industrial and infrastructure projects for some of the biggest developers in the country. • Lead end-to-end delivery of structural design projects, preparing high quality documentation and ensuring compliance with company standards
• Apply advanced engineering judgement and creativity to resolve complex design challenges across residential, commercial and industrial builds
• Coordinate and mentor engineers and drafters, providing technical leadership and supporting career development
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, including liaison with consultants and authorities, inspections, reporting and certification
• Prepare fee proposals, tender submissions, scopes of work and project budgets, managing invoicing and commercial performance
• Contribute to business growth by strengthening drafting standards, implementing best practice systems and identifying new project opportunities

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• CPEng and RPEQ accreditation (current)
• 8+ years structural design experience across residential, commercial and industrial projects
• Advanced proficiency in structural design software and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge and application of relevant Australian Standards
• Proven ability to independently prepare detailed and concept structural designs, technical reports and coordinated drawing packages
• Excellent communication, project coordination and time management skills
• Current Class C Driver's Licence and White Card

Experience across multiple project types and scales is a plus, as is a track record of winning new work and growing client relationships. Ideally you're someone who wants to build a team, not just join one.
