Our team is growing; we are currently recruiting for Lead Mechanical Engineers to join our team in our Brisbane office.

About the role
  • Be a key Contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.
  • The ability to deliver technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and best practice standards.
  • Prepare technical reports related to design issues.
  • Developa thorough understanding of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule
  • Developthe mechanical work plan for inclusion into the project specific execution plan
  • Manageand reviewthe Engineering Work Packages (EWP) associated with all deliverables and time-based functions to ensure that budgets and schedules are being met, and taking corrective action if necessary
  • Reviewand approve mechanical technical deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.)
  • Assistin the preparation and development of project specific procedures
  • Ensure that company approved design tools, software, relevant codes and standards to be used on the project
About you
  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering & hold RPEQ Accreditation
  • Experience in the detailed design of mineral processing plants essential
  • Experience with copper, gold, nickel or base metals is highly advantageous
  • 10+ years in an EPCM environment
  • Extremely well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and Client liaison skills
  • Strong deliverable focus and ability to plan the work
  • Excellent understanding and belief in safety principles, standards and legislation
  • Strong interpersonal skills
