Clinical Nurse – ICU | St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

Employment Term: Two Permanent Part Time (48hrs per fortnight, 60hrs per fortnight)

Location: Opposite Roma St Parklands, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, just a short walk to Brisbane City.

Remuneration: $55.63–$59.61 per hour + 12% Super + Not‑for‑Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care within the ICU, assessing and responding to nursing issues and concerns. Deliver supervision and guidance within a multi‑disciplinary team through effective decision making and support, and lead by example via clear communication, customer service and patient advocacy.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2years post‑graduate registered nursing experience within ICU
  • Critical Care Certificate desirable or working towards one
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritise ward clinical load
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospital infection control requirements, and undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
