2 x Chef/Cook Position – Momo Chicken

Momo Chicken is currently seeking 2 full-time Chef/Cook to join our team. We are looking for someone passionate about Korean cuisine, kitchen operations, and delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Position Details

Position: Chef/Cook Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $77,000 - $80,000 per year + superannuation Location: Brisbane, QLD Start Date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Korean fried chicken and other Korean menu items to company standards

• Manage kitchen operations during service

• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation

• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

• Assist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation

• Train and support junior kitchen staff

• Contribute to menu development and operational improvements

• Maintain efficient kitchen workflow during busy service periods

Requirements

• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen

• Experience with Korean cuisine preferred

• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills

• Experience with high-volume service is highly regarded
