The Role

We are seeking a corporate Barista to join McCullough Robertson on a casual, ongoing basis. Working Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 3.30pm, with a one-hour lunch break, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm.

As part of our broader Human Resources team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service to staff and clients, supporting the smooth running of meetings and events from a catering perspective, and ensuring our kitchens are well-stocked and maintained to a high standard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional service.

Key duties will include:

• Providing a high level of customer service to partners, staff, clients and visitors;
• Preparing café-quality coffee and beverages to a consistently high standard;
• Managing kitchen and café stock levels, including monitoring inventory and restocking supplies as required;
• Coordinating catering orders for meetings and events and ensuring food and beverages are presented professionally and delivered on time;
• Supporting the broader Office Services and Workplace team with hospitality-related tasks as required;
• Creating a welcoming and professional experience for all clients and visitors to the firm; and
• Assisting with end-of-day close down procedures and ensuring coffee machine and kitchen areas are prepared for the following day.

Experience

As the successful candidate, you will have prior hospitality experience in a corporate office environment with impeccable barista capabilities. You will bring exceptional customer service with a professional, personable manner, strong attention to detail, and reliable punctuality. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, juggling competing priorities with calm efficiency, bringing the flexibility and can‑do energy to step up when the firm needs you. This role could be ideal for a law student looking to get their foot in the door of a renowned commercial law firm.
