Position Overview:

As a Cook at our deli, you will play a key role in preparing delicious, authentic Italian dishes. You will work closely with our kitchen hand to ensure that every meal meets our standards for quality and taste while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Prepare and cook traditional Italian dishes, including pasta, sauces, meats, and vegetables, according to established recipes.

⁠ ⁠Create daily specials and assist in menu development, bringing your creativity to the team.

⁠ ⁠Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.

⁠ ⁠Monitor food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked.

⁠ ⁠Manage food cost effectively, ensuring that dishes are prepared within budget constraints.

Qualifications:

⁠ ⁠A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cook, with a focus on Italian cuisine.

⁠ ⁠Strong familiarity with Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional dishes.

⁠ ⁠Knowledge of pastry techniques

⁠ ⁠Ability to manage food costs and maintain accurate inventory records.

⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
