At Guppy’s Early Learning Centre, we believe in providing personalised service that suits the unique needs of the children and families we care for.  Role 

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable cook who wants to join our supportive team at our Kingston centre. In this role, you will assist across all rooms and will provide nutritious meals for the children in our centre. You will work within our team of qualified early learning professionals to provide high-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future.

This is a part-time position and applicants need to be willing to learn and contribute to a caring, play-based environment.

 Skills and Experience 

• Current Blue Card

• Current (or ability to obtain) First Aid, CPR & Asthma qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

• Food preparation and cooking experience is preferred but not required

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is preferred but not required

• Experience in the childcare industry is preferred but not required
